Motorhome beds vary enormously between makes, models and layouts, so there's no single standard size — most are best made bespoke. The easiest way to start is to measure your existing mattress: length, width and depth. If the old mattress is gone, measure the bed base itself.
Common UK motorhome bed types include:
- Fixed beds (single or double, usually at the rear)
- Island beds (access from both sides, often with curved or cut corners)
- French beds (a corner double with an angled foot)
- Transverse beds (running across the width of the vehicle)
- Drop-down and overcab beds

Each shape has its own measuring diagram, clearly labelled (A, B, C and so on). Just follow the diagram, measure your bed at each point and enter the figures — in centimetres, millimetres or inches — and we'll make your mattress to match.
