Triple Layer Construction

Memory foam that softens to your shape and cushions your hips and shoulders (Vascoโ„ข). It soaks up movement too, so when one of you gets up in the night the other stays asleep.

Bodyshapeโ„ข triple-layer construction diagram
  1. Moisture-wicking zip-off cover (TENCELโ„ข)

Wicks moisture away overnight so the top stays fresh. It unzips in moments and machine-washes on its own โ€” no dragging the whole mattress out to air.

  2. Memory foam top layer that moulds to you (Vascoโ„ข)

Warms to your body and cradles your shoulders, hips and back, relieving the sore spots a hard motorhome bed base leaves behind.

  3. Supportive base layer that keeps you from sinking in

Works under the memory foam to hold your spine in line and stop you sinking through. It also dampens movement, so one of you shifting doesn't wake the other.

  4. Firm base layer

A firm, durable base that keeps its shape season after season โ€” while staying light enough to lift and handle in cramped quarters.

Why Choose Bodyshapeโ„ข?

Factory motorhome beds tend to be narrow, hard and set close together, with thin foam that gives little back. After a long drive, that's when every ache shows up. The Bodyshapeโ„ข is designed to put that right: its Vascoโ„ข memory foam layer contours to you and pads your shoulders and hips, while the support layer below holds your spine steady and absorbs movement.

In a compact cabin that motion control counts double โ€” sleeping side by side, the Bodyshapeโ„ข soaks up a partner rolling over or slipping out in the night, so your sleep isn't broken.

Ideal for:

  • Couples bunked close together who don't want to feel every shift
  • Anyone waking stiff in the shoulders, hips or back on a hard van bed
  • Side sleepers after foam that cushions and follows their shape
  • Travellers who want a firm base with soft, moulding comfort on top

Measuring Guide

If your bed drops into a snug recess, or you want space to tuck bedding in, it's worth trimming your figures slightly โ€” though that's down to personal preference.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does Vascoโ„ข memory foam work?
Your body heat softens it so it moulds to your shape, spreading weight evenly and taking pressure off your shoulders, hips and back.
How good is the motion isolation?
Very good โ€” Vascoโ„ข foam soaks movement up instead of sending it across the bed, so a partner turning or rising won't wake you.
How long does a rolled mattress take to expand?
It usually regains 95% of its shape and size within an hour or two of unrolling; occasionally it can take around 24 hours to regain its shape fully.
What's included?
The mattress, its zip-off TENCELโ„ข cover, care instructions and a 5-year guarantee.
Is the Firm option suitable for everyday use?
Yes. Choosing Firm adds support underneath, and the memory foam on top still cushions you, so it's comfortable night after night in any sleeping position.
